Job Summary
Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit while ensuring delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and state/federal regulations. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on the assigned nursing unit. Manage human resources in the assigned unit, including limiting overtime and agency personnel use, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary. Support the Director of Nursing in achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, residents, families, and employees. Full-time day shift with Monday through Friday scheduling and on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
