Job Summary
Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit while supporting the Director of Nursing. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and accepted standards of practice, including state and federal regulations. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients on the assigned unit. Manage human resources by limiting overtime and agency personnel use, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
