Job Summary
Manage assigned nursing unit operations by ensuring consistent care delivery aligned with mission, vision, values, and state/federal regulations. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for safe patient care and participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies minimizing rehospitalizations. Mentor and educate nurses while overseeing medication management to ensure adequate supplies and policy compliance. Provide direct patient care alongside unit staff to maintain clinical skills. Requires current licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and at least one year of nurse leadership experience. Salary range is $42.00 - $50.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience
- Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience
- BSN, two (2) years nursing experience
- At least one year of nurse leadership experience
- Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
