Job Summary
Manage the assigned nursing unit to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing and participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies minimizing rehospitalizations. Mentor nursing staff, physicians, and other medical professionals to improve service quality and oversee medication management for adequate supplies and policy adherence. Provide direct patient care alongside unit nurses to maintain clinical skills. Requires current licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and at least one year of nurse leadership experience. Salary range is $54.00 - $56.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience
- Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience
- BSN, two (2) years nursing experience
- At least one year of nurse leadership experience
- Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
