Job Summary
Unit Manager at Western Secure Treatment Unit in Emlenton, PA. Oversees the daily schedule and all unit elements to ensure timely execution of the PM Program; supervises Group Leaders and ensures student participation in scheduled activities; acts as head coach or supervisor for program elements; facilitates extracurricular activities and scheduled Positive Skill Development Group meetings; coordinates with the Program Director and Director of Group Living to promote positive behavioral traits and review Daily Assessment Program Notes; requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 3+ years of juvenile treatment experience with supervisory responsibility; must be at least 21 and able to pass background checks, drug screen, physical, TB test, and child abuse central registry search.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment setting (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.)
- One (1) year supervisory experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Able to pass criminal background check
- Able to pass drug screen (THC no longer tested pre-employment)
- Able to pass physical
- Able to pass TB test
- Able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
