Job Summary
Oversee and direct daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs on the assigned geriatric unit, coordinating patient care and ensuring compliance with laws and Life Care standards. Lead and supervise staff, chart accurately, administer medications as ordered, respond to emergencies, coordinate care plans, and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and vendors while upholding confidentiality and code of conduct. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and sanitation, and contributing to an interdisciplinary team in a post-acute care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State (active RN license)
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation (must remain current)
