Job Summary
Supervise and manage nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and support personnel, while creating and managing shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing. Oversee the delivery of individualized patient care, collaborate with physicians and therapists to develop care plans, and provide direct nursing services such as medication administration and wound care. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by maintaining accurate EHR documentation, conducting clinical audits, and addressing inspection findings. Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to address concerns and escalate issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience
- Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, and implement patient care
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation
