Job Summary
Unit Manager - LPN on night shifts (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday). Responsible for delivering compliant, high-quality, cost-effective health care on your assigned unit, ensuring safe nursing coverage in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, supervising non-professional staff, identifying educational needs and coordinating training with the Nurse Educator, overseeing medication management in accordance with policy, and providing direct patient care alongside fellow unit nurses to maintain clinical skills. Requires graduate of an accredited LPN program, current state licensure, at least one year of nurse-management experience, and current BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state
- Must have at least one year of nurse management experience
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
