Job Summary
Coordinate resident and non-resident care by developing written nursing assignments and distributing them to unit employees. Describe care plan goals to direct care staff and monitor delivery of services throughout the shift to ensure needs are met and documentation is accurate. Seek input from nurse aides regarding resident conditions and functional abilities to guide care approaches. Act as a positive teammate by helping onboard new staff. Requires current active state licensure as an RN or LPN, two years of direct care experience, and one year of supervisory experience. Full-time and part-time roles available with benefits including PTO, medical insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Two years nursing experience providing direct care in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing setting.
- One-year supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
- Current active state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current CPR Certification.
