Job Summary
Unit Manager (LPN) on a post-acute care unit: supervise daily function of unit nurses and CNAs, coordinate and manage patient care, administer medications as ordered, provide leadership on the floor, coordinate care plans with RN, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards, maintain confidentiality and professional conduct, and respond to emergencies with strong interpersonal communication and teamwork. Requires an active LPN/LVN license, completion of an accredited LPN program, CPR certification, and 1 year geriatric nursing experience preferred; role emphasizes independent decision-making, knowledge of department policies, and delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
