Job Summary
Unit Manager (LPN or RN) in a Calvert City, KY nursing facility leading a team of skilled nursing professionals on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff; ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements; coordinating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams; leading meetings (care plan, QAPI, NAR); reviewing labs and daily charting; stepping in as Charge Nurse; participating in on-call rotation; assisting with admissions and onboarding; delivering direct nursing care as needed; supporting ADLs and resident independence; responding to resident calls; identifying changes in resident condition; maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to ongoing assessments; demonstrating hospitality and upholding values of quality, respect, service, and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Active Unencumbered Nurse license in Kentucky or multistate compact
- Current CPR certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret regulations
- Proven leadership ability with experience guiding and supporting staff
- Professional, courteous, and residentcentered demeanor
- Must meet physical requirements of the position
