Job Summary
Unit Manager (RN) leading clinical operations in a 120-bed skilled nursing unit. Responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, interfacing with physicians, coordinating QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff. Oversees care for clinically acute patients/residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties. Oversees regulatory compliance and staff development to ensure high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care
- Nursing Management experience preferred
- BSN preferred
