Job Summary
Unit Manager for an Adult Unit responsible for 24-hour operational management of the unit, budgeting for clinical programs, maintaining the clinical environment and staffing strategy to meet census targets, adjusting to changes in patient acuity, delivering direct patient care and consulting on treatment planning, staff development, and quality improvement; participates in marketing activities and supervises nursing, social work, rehabilitation services, and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program and at least 2 years of progressively more responsible inpatient psychiatric nursing experience; or diploma nursing program with at least 4 years of progressively more responsible inpatient psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland
