Job Summary
Unit LNA provides bedside nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, and also performs related non-professional services and basic administrative/clerical tasks to support unit operations. Requires a Vermont license and BLS certification; duties include reporting patient care observations, assisting with moving or lifting patients and equipment, maintaining basic medical terminology knowledge, and utilizing basic computer skills; certification in unit-specific areas pursued within 12 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current Vermont State License
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Unit-specific certifications as required (ex. CRAT) per specific department operational framework.* after 12 months of hire
- Minimum Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent, or evidence of graduation within one year, required.
