Job Summary
The Unit LNA - Float Pool provides supportive bedside nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, and performs related administrative and clerical activities to support unit operations. Responsibilities include reporting patient care observations and deviations from the plan of care, assisting with moving or lifting patients and equipment, and applying basic medical terminology and computer skills. Requires a Vermont license and BLS certification, with unit-specific certifications as required within 12 months of hire. This role operates within a hospital or nursing-home setting and supports a float pool across units, emphasizing teamwork under RN oversight and patient-focused care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Current Vermont State License
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Unit-specific certifications as required (ex. CRAT) per specific department operational framework.*
- Pay Range = $21.96 - $31.99
- Previous hospital or nursing home LNA experience, preferred.
- Previous secretarial or administrative experience preferred.
