Job Summary
Lead plant operations by diagnosing root causes of asset utilization losses, conducting daily reviews of plant logs and alarm history, and maintaining Key Process Indicators to ensure optimum performance. Resolve urgent plant issues and emergencies while acting as a technical expert during unplanned events to drive corrective and preventative actions. Optimize Raw Material Efficiency and yield by applying Most Effective Technology, challenging assumptions, and partnering with subject matter experts to improve operating discipline. Provide leadership to the operations team, reinforce procedural compliance, and ensure safety through field presence while wearing required PPE in high-noise and hazardous environments. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and six years of operations experience, with no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering
- A minimum of 6 years of operations, engineering, manufacturing or related experience
- A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States
- Able to work at heights
- Able to climb stairs and ladders
- Able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes
- Able to work in an area of intense or continuous noise
- Able to work in an area with hazardous materials
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work at elevated heights greater than or equal to four feet above the ground
- Able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs
