Job Summary
Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures, then learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision. Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents and support them with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming. Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents while receiving hands-on mentorship to develop essential skills. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to attend an LNA class and clinicals to prepare for the Licensed Nursing Assistant exam.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill
- Ability to work with both
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
