Job Summary
Unit Head-General Merchandise leads the General Merchandise commercial team, shaping strategic plans, overseeing vendor/supplier management, product and brand management, inventory and stock control, and category performance. The role requires strategic planning, market research, competitive analysis, and execution of sales, profitability, and promotional initiatives, while managing cross-functional teams and ensuring SOP adherence. Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development are essential, along with negotiation, contract management, and budget/P&L oversight to maintain competitive pricing and optimize performance across store categories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in related field
