Job Summary

Manage daily operations of the Boys & Girls Club's Jordan Park after-school site, overseeing program delivery, budget implementation, and staff supervision. Recruit and retain part-time teachers and youth development specialists while coordinating training workshops and community events. Maintain strong relationships with school principals and teachers to align academic needs with after-school activities, ensuring consistent communication throughout the school day. Oversee curriculum implementation, including site-specific enrichment clubs, and collect data on attendance, demographics, and session participation. Pursue partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to secure additional resources, while monitoring membership administration to meet assigned daily attendance goals.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Certified in CPR and first aid
  • Management skills
  • Knowledge of (and access to) community organizations and assistance agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work with youth in a variety of environments
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision
  • Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in developing and implementing youth guidance and development programs
