Job Summary
Oversee daily Club operations, facility management, and crisis response for all Units, Extensions, and Community Impact Sites in Moody County. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise full- and part-time staff while conducting performance reviews and managing disciplinary actions. Lead youth behavior and discipline plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards, special needs protocols, and the 5 Key Elements of Positive Youth Development. Represent the Club in community media, build relationships with school stakeholders and parents, and manage grant administration and budget oversight. Monitor membership data, track program effectiveness across Academic Success and Healthy Lifestyles, and complete annual safety assessments. This role supports the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains mission to inspire young people to realize their full potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated experience working with youth preschool through 12th grade
- Proven management and supervisory experience
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, mentor, and hold staff accountable
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Deep understanding of youth development principles and behavior management
- Ability to provide both immediate and reflective feedback that supports positive youth development
- Capacity to observe, interact with, and communicate effectively among youth, staff, volunteers, and parents
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during a shift
- Ability to safely operate general office equipment (computers, phones, copiers)
- Consistent awareness of and responsiveness to the safety of all Club members
- Full Time employment
