Unit Desk Clerk in Advanced Acute Care Surgical Telemetry Unit (Evenings). Responsible for a wide range of clerical duties in a patient care environment, including admissions/transfers/discharges, bed assignment, transcribing/processing orders, teletracking updates, coordinating patient transportation, and communicating with the care team and food services. Maintains an organized unit, supports patient safety initiatives, and precepts/mentors new staff. Requires strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and effective communication; education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED. 40 hours/week, evenings, on-site at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
