Unit Coordinator OB Tech

Coordinate patient care processes from newborn to geriatric and serve as the primary receptionist and secretary. Manage information flow, prepare designated Operating and Delivery rooms, and select equipment per provider preferences. Assist providers as scrub tech during Cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and emergency hysterectomies while maintaining sterile technique and instrument counts. Report breaks to the RN and facilitate timely room turnovers through organized cleaning. Utilize the AIDET principle to communicate with patients and families. Requires two years of OB Tech experience, CST certification, and BLS certification. Located at Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California.
