Job Summary
Unit Coordinator in the Critical Care Unit provides technical assistance to nursing staff and performs clerical, scheduling, and supply functions essential to unit operations. Responsibilities include greeting visitors and staff, answering phones, coordinating with physicians and other departments, entering orders into the EMR (Epic), preparing discharge paperwork, assembling and labeling medical records, maintaining confidentiality, and handling charting tasks. Requires strong communication, clerical skills, hospital computer proficiency, and knowledge of medical terminology; 32-hour weekly schedule with 7a-3p shifts and weekend rotations. Required Qualifications
