Job Summary
Unit Coordinator, NICU role at Nationwide Children’s Hospital supporting 0.6 FTE with 24 hours/week, night shift (7p–7a) including weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining patient charts and medical records, operating communication systems (telephone, paging, pneumatic tube), assisting with admission/registration/transfer/discharge, stocking unit supplies, maintaining regulatory standards, and serving as a preceptor for orientation and training of staff. Performs coordination of transport for medications and initiates emergency communications as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and current CPR (BLS) certification; preferred completion of unit coordinator or clerk course.
