Job Summary
Coordinate and prioritize tasks to maintain daily unit flow in a complex, rapidly changing environment. Communicate with staff, families, and other departments while gathering intake information, reviewing referrals, and verifying patient records. Answer phones, assist with patient registration, and manage e-fax communications. Collect and report data in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines while maintaining confidentiality of all patient care information. Maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel and external referring agencies. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
- Must be vaccinated against flu
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
- One (1) year experience in a medical environment
