Unit Coordinator - Back End Nights

Unit Coordinator provides administrative/clerical support to clinical services on the Back End Nights shift, handling registration, insurance verification, visitor management, EHR oversight, discharge coordination, and interdepartmental communication to ensure smooth unit operation. Responsibilities include eligibility verification, enrollment with RBHA or other insurers, obtaining authorizations/releases, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, maintaining security, updating patient records in the EHR, coordinating discharges and transfers, handling Title 36 processes, coordinating ordering of meals/equipment/supplies, and serving as a liaison across disciplines while delivering excellent customer service in a behavioral health setting. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of strong customer service experience, 3 years of clerical experience, ability to become a notary within 90 days, and a State of Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card; vaccination as per policy are noted, with preferred prior behavioral health experience. The role is full-time with shift differentials highlighted.
