Job Summary
Unit Chef at KY Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY, responsible for supervising and participating in the preparation of meals for students and faculty. Duties include planning, organizing, and supervising culinary operations across dining hall, retail and catering services; menu planning based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations; coordinating with the food service director; directing and coordinating the work of kitchen staff; and other tasks as assigned. Requires certification by a recognized culinary institution or equivalent experience, and at least three years in culinary management with strong leadership and communication abilities.
