Job Summary
Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population independently while utilizing the nursing process and demonstrating developed assessment skills. Plan and implement patient care, individualizing it based on patient and family knowledge, and advocate for their needs by recognizing cultural differences and reducing communication barriers. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, resolving conflicts and identifying courses of action in non-routine situations. Document the nursing process accurately, collect and analyze data for interdisciplinary teams, and revise care documentation to ensure effectiveness. Participate in unit discussions to address discipline-specific issues, identify areas for improvement through surveys and focus groups, and maintain professional development through required points and contact hours.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years
- valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (may be required in designated departments)
