Job Summary
Unit Care Coordinator (RN) leads daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs to provide patient care, coordinates and manages care plans, and communicates with patients, families and staff. Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered by physicians, coordinating patient care services, directing leadership actions during emergencies, maintaining timely charting, ensuring patient rights and safety, upholding confidentiality, and adhering to company policies and Life Care standards. Requires active RN license, nursing education (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing), CPR certification, and preferred one year of geriatric nursing experience. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered RN in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation (must remain current)
