Job Summary
Unit Care Coordinator coordinates and manages patient care on the unit, supervising nursing staff and CNAs; communicates with patients and families; ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards; administers medications as ordered; responds in leadership capacity to emergency situations; coordinates patient care plans and services; exhibits customer service and a positive attitude toward patients; maintains confidentiality and adheres to company policies; requires active RN license and nursing diploma; CPR certification; geriatric nursing experience preferred; strong knowledge of practice standards; ability to read, write, speak English; works with interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
