Job Summary
Direct daily unit functions by supervising nurses and CNAs, coordinating patient care plans, and administering medications. Manage interdisciplinary communication to ensure patient safety, respond to emergency situations, and facilitate patient evacuations. Chart accurately and implement departmental policies while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Life Care standards. Provide leadership on the floor to support physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Work Monday through Friday, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
