Unit Associate, per diem 8-hours, Davino 1-Orthopedics, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Answer phones promptly, greet visitors, and direct patients and staff using proper etiquette. Act as a liaison between nursing, bed management, and support departments to ensure appropriate patient placement and flow. Perform timely and accurate admissions, transfers, and discharges while removing discharged patients from the system within fifteen minutes. Maintain patient records, print labels and wristbands, and organize paper files for HIM scanning. Troubleshoot unit computer problems, report system issues, and provide training support for non-clinical functions. Coordinate BCA drills, complete daily checks, and assist clinical staff during downtime. Monitor the unit environment for cleanliness, safety, and comfort, reporting leaks or temperature adjustments to appropriate departments.
