Unit Assistant Emergency Department

Greet patients, visitors, and new admissions; answer general inquiries, screen, and route telephone calls. Perform administrative and clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, mail distribution, and creating reports. Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members regarding patient care. Conduct unit safety checks, assist with patient needs, and maintain unit and patient room cleanliness. May assist with meals, tray passing, supply stocking, and staff scheduling. Requires high school diploma or one year of applicable experience; BLS certification preferred. Full-time days shift at Ascension St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.
