Job Summary
Responsible for inventory movement and assembly supplies for assembly lines. Read Part Quality Standards and Nifco Packaging Information Form. Operate forklift with license. Ensure production schedule is met and assembly lines have inventory/packaging stocked with 4 hours MAX. Transfer parts to/from the assembly floor; assist associates with day-to-day issues; verify packaged parts and labels comply with NPIF. Use scanners, WOW app, master labels, and skid sheets for inventory transactions. Knowledge of basic material handling, MES badge scanner, printer, PPH targets, and packaging supplies. Pull components/finished goods for shipments; perform warehouse and physical inventory duties; follow FIFO, line setup, and skid sheet rules; identify and handle non-conforming product. Operate high technology assembly machinery when required; follow Work Instructions, rules, and regulations; adhere to IATF quality system and 5S. Locate SDS sheets; understand OSHA’s Right to Know policy; basic environmental knowledge and Safety Orientation. Other tasks as assigned by management. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Forklift certification required (by Nifco)
