Job Summary
Meet and exceed sales goals by listening to customer needs, providing in-depth product information, and closing sales while maintaining brand and operational standards. Utilize the UNIQLO service standard and six standard phrases to manage customer expectations, assist with fitting room needs, and act as cashier when required. Process shipments to ensure full-size merchandise representation and assist management in resolving store issues. Follow all company policies, notify leadership of infractions, and execute special projects as assigned. Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and nights, averaging 12 or more hours weekly. This seasonal part-time role at Ala Moana may transition to permanent status.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work on ladders
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read computer terminals
- Ability to push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom by repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered)
