Job Summary
Meet and exceed sales goals by listening to customer needs, providing in-depth product information, and closing sales while maintaining brand and operational standards. Pro-actively manage customer interactions using the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standard and six standard phrases, assist with fitting room inquiries, and act as cashier following protocol. Process shipments to ensure merchandise is represented on the floor in full size runs and assist management in identifying store issues. Follow all company policies, notify leadership of infractions, and support special projects as assigned. Work part-time, averaging 12 or more hours weekly with weekend availability, reporting to the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 months retail or related experience
- Average 12 or more hours per week based on business seasonality
- Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered)
- Restrictions on availability limited to two days per week
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read computer terminals
- Ability to push, pull, move, lift or carry objects of at least 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Strong communication skills
