Job Summary
Meet and exceed sales goals by listening to customer needs, providing in-depth product information, and closing sales while maintaining brand and operational standards. Pro-actively manage customer interactions using the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standard and six standard phrases, assist with fitting room needs, and act as cashier following protocol. Process shipments to ensure full-size merchandise representation on the floor and identify store issues for management resolution. Adhere to company policies, notify management of infractions, and assist with special projects as assigned. Full-time availability requires 32+ hours weekly with weekend openness; part-time roles available. Starting compensation is $16.50/hour with a clear path to promotion every three months.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 months retail or related experience
- Full-Time Availability
- Average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality
- Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered)
- Restrictions on availability limited to three days per week
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read computer terminals
- Ability to push, pull, move, lift or carry objects of at least 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
