Job Summary

Conduct daily loss prevention management for assigned locations, overseeing hiring, training, and performance of LP staff. Independently create, implement, and audit shortage action plans while managing internal and external investigations targeting theft and fraud. Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot security equipment including CCTV, access control, EAS, and alarm systems, ensuring proper evidence securing and prosecution support. Enforce department policies and standards while implementing training programs across store operations and warehouse facilities. Build positive business relationships with law enforcement, legal professionals, and third-party vendors to reduce operational loss. Requires 3-5 years of retail LP management experience, proficiency in MS Office, and ability to travel to stores and warehouses. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week with weekend open availability, offering competitive hourly pay starting at $34.62.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Retail Loss Prevention Management experience
  • Must have extensive experience in all aspects of internal investigations
  • Ability to independently conduct internal interviews
  • Significant experience in directly managing external apprehension programs
  • Experience and knowledge of current security technology, CCTV, & covert surveillance
  • Experience and knowledge of Electronic Article Surveillance Burglar and Fire alarm systems
  • Ability to promote accountability and manage the performance of remote personnel with varying skill sets
  • Must have excellent communications, strong strategic skills, sound business judgment, and proven consultative skills with all levels of management
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written, skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize / multi task
  • Proficient in conducting investigations and integrity interviews
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications; ex: excel, word, and Power point
  • Ability to travel to stores within assigned area, and maneuver around sales floors, stock room and offices
  • Average 40 hours per week based on business seasonality
  • Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered)
  • Restrictions on availability limited to three days per week

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • Wicklander or Reid interviewing and integration certification preferred
