Job Summary
The Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for all initiatives and daily tasks associated with loss prevention and safety management, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and company assets. Key responsibilities include training store employees on LP and safety policies, detecting and capturing shoplifters, monitoring theft suspicions, and preparing incident reports. The position requires strong communication skills, physical ability to apprehend shoplifters, and basic computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to physically apprehend and assist in the detention of shoplifters as required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications; i.e.: Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Must be able to work for extended periods at a desk on a computer or standing/walking as required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in conducting investigations preferred
- 1-2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience preferred
