Job Summary
Provide customer service and support the ongoing thrift-store operations at The Salvation Army Thrift Store. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers and donors, contributing to sales targets, knowledge of product pricing, processing cash/debit transactions accurately, handling donations, sorting and stocking merchandise, ensuring store policies are followed, maintaining clean and organized displays, and assisting with inventory control. Requires physical ability to lift up to 29 lbs, working with cash registers/POS, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal/communication skills to interact with customers, volunteers, and staff in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of some high school course work
- Cash handling experience is required
- Experience working in a computerized environment
