Job Summary
Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial properties. Perform day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, and housekeeping tasks. Manage HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers (air and/or water cooled), DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems; monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, control gauges, valves, thermostats, and related components. Conduct energy-management activities, verify field conditions, perform repairs or adjustments, and complete fire and life-safety inspections per NFPA standards. Respond to emergencies and document activities to supervisor. Requires 5+ years of related experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and appropriate trade licenses or permits. Education emphasizes High School Diploma or GED; apprentice program or trade-school background preferred. Occasional travel between properties may be required. Cushman & Wakefield provides competitive pay and benefits, with compensation range $45.06-$53.01 per hour depending on market and experience.
