Job Summary
Lead UC implementations and oversee platform upgrades for live event broadcast delivery and global streaming workflows. Manage video and data streaming infrastructure using real-time protocols (HLS, RTMP, RTP), configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and deploy VoIP and cloud-based communication platforms. Troubleshoot system failures, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve escalated tickets while implementing security protocols and compliance measures (NIST, DoD, STIGs). Draft Standard Operating Procedures, maintain knowledge base articles, and mentor junior staff. Participate in project management for major refresh cycles and apply emerging UC technologies to optimize system performance.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance OR TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to starting
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelors degree (can be substituted for 4 years of work experience)
- Associates degree (can be substituted for 2 years of work experience)
- IAT Level II (Ex: Security+)
- CCNA (Must obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Video/Broadcast Streaming (delivery, encoding, and live infrastructure)
- Data Streaming using real-time data protocols (HLS, RTMP, RTP, UDP)
- Experience with Audio/Video Streaming to include streaming encoders, set top box, Vbrick Rev media portal, Distributed Media Engine (DME)
