Uniface Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Manage end-to-end delivery of modules for M1 PRO, a long-established Uniface-based practice information system relied on by thousands of practices daily. Modernize and refactor existing Uniface codebases to enhance maintainability while stabilizing critical workflows in outpatient care. Collaborate closely with architecture and AI fullstack teams to integrate Uniface modules with modern Java/Quarkus services and AI-driven workflows, connecting the system with Gematik TI, ePA, and the GDT/LDT/xDT ecosystem. Leverage Claude Code and AI agents to accelerate analysis, refactoring, and documentation of legacy code, feeding insights back to the team. Actively shape the long-term evolution strategy for M1 PRO, balancing reliable delivery with gradual platform modernization. Work remotely two days per week with three days onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung auf Senior-Level in der Uniface-Entwicklung
- Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathematik, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Studiengang
- Tiefes Verständnis relationaler Datenbanken (z. B. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- sicherer Umgang mit Versionsverwaltung, Build- und Delivery-Prozessen
- Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch
- fließendes Englisch in Wort und Schrift

- Erfahrung in geschäftskritischen, langlebigen Anwendungssystemen mit hoher Verfügbarkeit
- effektiver Einsatz von AI-Tools im Software-Engineering
- Erfahrung mit Claude Code (Agents, Skills, Workflows), AI-Pipelines und Context Engineering
