Underwriting Technician

Handle external and internal client inquiries and support underwriters with new business, endorsement, and renewal processes. Review and issue submissions, requesting pertinent file documents and following up with agents and insureds to meet processing timeframes. Assist in processing endorsements and renewals while maintaining accurate policyholder information and indexing incoming mail through ImageRight. Coordinate with underwriters to update status and initiate changes, striving to resolve requests the day received. Warmly receive phone and email inquiries, document all requests, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
