Job Summary
Entry-level Underwriting Support Specialist role focusing on data-driven underwriting support for renewable-energy insurance portfolios. Responsibilities include servicing accounts from submission to issuance, developing Statement of Value (SOV) files in Excel, generating and issuing policy documents, managing a high-volume inbox, ensuring accurate data entry across underwriting systems, updating weekly reports with exportable data and visual tables, collaborating with Data Science and Compliance, monitoring submission communications, researching renewable energy technology and industry news, and maintaining broker/client relationships. Requires proactive communication, strong written/verbal skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail; limited travel may be required. This remote role may become hybrid in the future, with potential office work at US locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a business-related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Prioritization and organizational skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Limited travel may be required
