Job Summary
Serve as a resource for the underwriting team by acting as the primary point of contact for agents and brokers. Gather information, answer questions, and resolve low-complexity issues to facilitate account servicing and process transactions without underwriter review. Maintain a suspense and follow-up system for outstanding items while ensuring accuracy in system inputs and file documentation. Adhere to internal guidelines to process work in a timely and compliant manner, and participate in problem-solving activities to identify root causes and implement continuous improvements. Under underwriter direction, attach forms and make policy changes as requested while building strong relationships with clients and internal partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- US Work Authorization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to follow process and attention to details
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Willingness to work toward insurance designation (AINS)
