Underwriting Support Associate Account Manager (Inland Marine and Commercial Property)

Job Summary
Enter schedules into proprietary rating systems, establish relationships with underwriters and agents, and prepare account service documents like proposals. Assist in the renewal process by reviewing for accuracy, document new business declines, and summarize loss runs. Review policies, endorsements, and reporters for compliance, answer internal information requests, and follow up on missing underwriting information. Ensure all documentation is sorted and filed, retrieve rating reports as needed, and perform other duties as assigned. This hybrid role requires Monday through Wednesday office attendance with remote options Thursday and Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Equivalent is defined as having 2 years of relevant insurance experience
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and problem-solving techniques
- Mastery level PC and keyboarding skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Must be detail and action oriented
- Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-driven production environment
- Ability to organize, set and maintain priorities
- Ability to adapt to change
- To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree is preferred
