Job Summary
Underwriting Specialist / Senior Underwriter, Commercial Mid-Market (New Business): Manage, analyze, and underwrite a highly complex book of Commercial Mid-Market new business; develop specialized endorsement language; determine pricing for complex risks; advise on underwriting policy and pricing strategy; present reports to management; market products through the brokerage community and maintain broker relationships; mentor less experienced underwriters; utilize CNA systems for day-to-day activities; lead special underwriting projects and collaborate with internal/external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Professional designations preferred
- Typically a minimum eight to ten years underwriting experience
