Job Summary
Analyze P&C insurance policies for coverage gaps, review loss runs and claims history to propose terms, and complete commercial policy intake forms. Conduct underwriting calls with clients to discuss uninsured risks and obtain data for actuarial pricing. Develop renewal positions, submit case files for risk analysis, and review large amounts of raw data for accuracy. Send underwriting documents to clients to support eligible coverages and coordinate with the Claims Department for sign-off. Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of underwriting experience. Pay range $51,800 - $85,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of underwriting experience
- 2+ years of experience reviewing commercial property & casualty policies & servicing claims
- P&C license or industry designation
- knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies
