Job Summary
Senior Underwriting Specialist responsible for overall management, business development, analysis and monitoring of a highly complex National Accounts Property (Engineered Property) book. Serves as a technical expert, develops specialized endorsement language, determines pricing with minimal oversight, and makes recommendations on underwriting policy and pricing strategy. Markets products through the brokerage community, maintains broker relationships with large producers in the assigned territory, stays current on regulatory issues and industry trends, and mentors less experienced underwriters. Demonstrates advanced analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills, and utilizes CNA systems to perform day-to-day activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Typically eight to ten years underwriting experience
